๐ŸŒ โ€œUnited in Diversity Thailandโ€ is an ESC Volunteering Teams project taking place in Fak Tha, Uttaradit, Thailand ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ from 01 August 2026 to 30 September 2026.

This call is specifically for the Thailand deployment within the UNITY project, which includes two team deployments: Viet Nam (Julyโ€“August 2026) and Thailand (Augustโ€“September 2026).

The project strengthens educational support in disadvantaged communities, with a strong focus on preventing girlsโ€™ school dropout and promoting gender equality.

๐ŸŽฏ Main Objectives

๐Ÿ“š Deliver peer-to-peer English, digital and soft-skills learning
๐Ÿ‘ง Prevent girlsโ€™ school dropout and promote gender equality
๐Ÿค Support local youth leaders and build peer-support networks (EQUIP approach)
๐Ÿงฉ Reach approximately 100 vulnerable children during the deployment
๐Ÿ“ฆ Produce replicable tools and dissemination materials for long-term impact

Each deployment mobilises 20 international volunteers working closely with local schools and youth.

๐Ÿก Shared rooms with basic equipment and common facilities
๐Ÿฝ 3 meals per day provided (special dietary needs considered)
๐Ÿ’ถ Daily food allowance on free days (as agreed with hosting association)

๐ŸŽ‚ Age: 18โ€“35
๐ŸŽ“ Minimum secondary education (preferably studies in education, social sciences, youth work, psychology, languages or related fields)
๐Ÿ—ฃ English level B1+ (basic willingness to learn Thai)
๐Ÿ‘ถ Experience with children/youth preferred (not mandatory)
๐ŸŽค Ability to deliver simple lessons and manage groups
๐Ÿค Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and cultural sensitivity
๐Ÿ’ป Basic ICT and digital skills
๐Ÿ›‚ Valid passport, ability to obtain visa, clear background check
๐Ÿ“˜ Commitment to full 59-day deployment (57 days on-site + 2 travel days)
๐Ÿง  Willingness to participate in training, evaluations and obtain Youthpass
