An individual ESC volunteering opportunity is open in Sandrigo (Vicenza), northern Italy, within a social cooperative dedicated to inclusion, solidarity and community-based social services. The “Future Makers” project offers a long-term, immersive experience for young people who wish to actively contribute to a more inclusive and caring society through daily engagement with different vulnerable groups.
Hosted by Margherita Società Cooperativa Sociale, the project promotes solidarity, personal development and social change by involving volunteers directly in structured educational and community activities.

👥 What Will You Do?
As a volunteer, you will work side-by-side with experienced educators and social workers and contribute to inclusive daily activities supporting:
👩🦽 People with intellectual disabilities in educational centres
👵 Elderly people in social daily centres
🧒 Children in schools and summer centres through creative, outdoor and intercultural activities
Your role will include assisting in workshops, supporting daily routines, encouraging participation, and helping create an inclusive and respectful learning environment. The project is built around real community engagement and shared responsibility.

🏡 Shared apartment for 6 ESC volunteers
• 3 bedrooms (1 single, 1 double, 1 triple)

👤 Participant Profile
The project is looking for a motivated, open-minded and socially engaged young person who:
✔ Is between 18 and 30 years old
✔ Is flexible and ready to adapt to a new cultural environment
✔ Has empathy and interest in social work
✔ Enjoys working with children, elderly people and persons with intellectual disabilities
✔ Is comfortable living in a shared apartment with international volunteers
✔ Has at least basic English (Italian not required)
No professional experience is required. What matters most is your willingness to learn, sense of responsibility, teamwork spirit and openness to intercultural growth.
