Project Description
Habitus Bonus is an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange designed to support young people’s mental wellbeing, emotional resilience, and personal development through habit-building, mindfulness, and intercultural learning. The project responds to increasing levels of anxiety, stress, and social isolation among young people by offering practical, accessible tools for self-awareness, emotional balance, and healthy routines.
Through shared living in nature, daily mindfulness practices, non-formal education, and international teamwork, participants will explore how small habits can lead to long-term mental health benefits while building strong intercultural connections.
Project Objectives
🧠 Strengthen self-awareness and emotional resilience
🧘 Introduce mindfulness and meditation as stress-management tools
🌍 Promote Erasmus+ values and European cooperation
🤝 Develop intercultural dialogue and teamwork skills
💬 Raise awareness of mental health through local “Mind Matters” follow-up activities
🎯 Support personal goal-setting and sustainable habit formation
Participant Profile
👤 Aged 18–30
🗣️ Communicative level of English
💚 Strong interest in mental health, wellbeing, and self-development
🤝 Motivated to engage in international teamwork and follow-up activities
📲 Willing to support visibility and dissemination activities
♿ 24 participants with fewer opportunities (social, geographical, economic)
Working Methods
🌱 Learning by doing through daily mindfulness, meditation, and habit-building
🧊 Ice-breakers and outdoor team-building activities
🛠️ Interactive workshops on stress management and emotional resilience
💬 Group discussions, storytelling, and peer learning
📊 Daily reflection and evaluation sessions
Accommodation & Venue
🏡 Participants will stay in Rettenegg, Austria

Food & Costs
🍽️ Accommodation and food are 100% covered by Erasmus+
✈️ Travel costs reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance bands
