🌿 About the Project
🐎 Take part in a long-term ESC individual volunteering experience in a rural youth and equestrian centre in northeastern Slovenia
🌍 Support sustainable community development youth empowerment and wellbeing through horse-assisted activities
🤝 Live and work in a close-knit rural community surrounded by nature animals and open space
✨ Contribute to a project that combines youth work outdoor learning and personal growth

🛠️ Volunteering Activities
🐴 Support horse-related activities with children and young people including camps workshops and trips
🌱 Care for horses and support daily stable routines
🌼 Optional involvement in gardening and light renovation if interested
🎪 Support community and intercultural events such as picnics gatherings and workshops
📱 Help with social media communication including Facebook Instagram photos and videos

🏡 Accommodation & Support
🏠 Private room at the centre
🍽️ Food provided with shared meals during the week and flexibility for dietary preferences
💶 Monthly pocket money provided according to ESC rules
🚗 Access to a car and bicycle for local mobility
🐎 Opportunity to learn horsemanship skills or simply spend time with the horses
🌿 Rural living environment with nature animals and a welcoming local community
🚆 Train connections available to Ljubljana and Budapest

📚 Training & Learning
🎓 Pre-departure workshop and in-depth on-arrival training
🐎 Training on horse work safety community building conflict management and teamwork
🤝 Local mentor and task-related mentor assigned
🌍 ESC on-arrival training organised by the Slovenian National Agency
🐴 Optional horse lessons several times per week including groundwork lunging riding and trail riding

👤 Participant Profile
🐎 Interest in horses animals and outdoor life
🌿 Comfortable with rural living and physical daily activities
🤝 Open-minded responsible and community-oriented
🌍 Intermediate English is helpful but not required
✨ Motivation curiosity and willingness to learn are essential
📌 Horse experience is not required but appreciated
