The United Nations Resident Coordinator System (RCO) in China is offering a full-time, in-person Partnership Internship in Beijing. This role supports the development of public-private partnerships aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (2026β2030) and Chinaβs transition toward high-quality, green, and inclusive development in line with the 2030 Agenda and SDGs.

π― Main Responsibilities
π€ Support the organisation of major UN events, including logistics, briefings, and speeches
π Prepare briefing notes, presentations, background documents, and policy materials related to Chinaβs development priorities
ποΈ Assist in organising and following up inter-agency and high-level meetings attended by UN leadership
π Support incoming high-level UN delegations with both logistical and substantive assistance
π Contribute to partnership development relevant to the new UN Cooperation Framework in China
π Eligibility & Academic Background
Applicants must meet one of the following:
π Enrolled in or completed a graduate programme
π Enrolled in or completed the final year of a bachelorβs degree
Fields of study should be relevant, such as international relations, public policy, development studies, economics, political science, or related disciplines.
π» Skills & Competencies
π₯οΈ Strong skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS Teams
π Analytical thinking and ability to work independently
π€ Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
π Ability to draft documents and design surveys is an asset
π£οΈ Language Requirements
English required
Chinese is an advantage
French is an asset
