This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity takes place in Malta with BirdLife Malta and focuses on environmental protection, nature conservation, and public awareness. As a volunteer, you will actively support the daily opening of natural reserves, guide visitors, contribute to environmental education activities, and assist with research and data collection. The experience offers a strong combination of nature-based learning, public engagement, and practical conservation work in an international setting.

🧩 Main Activities and Responsibilities
🌿 Assisting with the public opening of BirdLife Malta nature reserves, including weekends
🦜 Guiding visitors through the reserves and the Salina Salt Museum
🏛️ Supporting the setup and maintenance of visitor centres and exhibitions
🔭 Preparing binoculars, visitor materials, and the nature shop before opening hours
🛍️ Managing a small nature shop and promoting BirdLife Malta membership
📊 Collecting visitor statistics and feedback
