This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity takes place in Malta with BirdLife Malta and focuses on environmental protection, nature conservation, and public awareness. As a volunteer, you will actively support the daily opening of natural reserves, guide visitors, contribute to environmental education activities, and assist with research and data collection. The experience offers a strong combination of nature-based learning, public engagement, and practical conservation work in an international setting.

๐งฉ Main Activities and Responsibilities
๐ฟ Assisting with the public opening of BirdLife Malta nature reserves, including weekends
๐ฆ Guiding visitors through the reserves and the Salina Salt Museum
๐๏ธ Supporting the setup and maintenance of visitor centres and exhibitions
๐ญ Preparing binoculars, visitor materials, and the nature shop before opening hours
๐๏ธ Managing a small nature shop and promoting BirdLife Malta membership
๐ Collecting visitor statistics and feedback
๐ Supporting educational events and environmental awareness activities
๐ Assisting with research activities and data entry related to conservation work
