🌍 A fully funded European Solidarity Corps volunteering opportunity is waiting for you on the Slovenian coast, combining youth work, creativity, educational games, and language support in an active youth center in Portorož.

🌱 Project Overview
This ESC Individual Volunteering project takes place in Portorož, Slovenia, at a dynamic youth center run by the Javni zavod Športni in mladinski center Piran. Volunteers support everyday youth work activities by choosing one of two focus profiles: youth worker & educational escape room assistant, or youth worker & Italian language support. The project blends non-formal education, creativity, games, and intercultural learning in a seaside environment.

🎯 Main Activities
🎲 Supporting the creation and facilitation of educational escape rooms
🧩 Developing interactive learning tools through games and problem-solving
🇮🇹 Supporting Italian language activities through games, homework help, and informal learning
👫 Participating in youth center activities as a youth worker
🎨 Contributing to creative, educational, and cultural activities for young people
🤝 Working closely with youth workers and international volunteers

🏡 Accommodation, Food and Living Conditions
🏠 Shared apartment close to the workplace
🛏️ Two bedrooms including one single room and one shared room
🍽️ 7 € per day for food and 5 € per day pocket money
🚌 Monthly public transport card provided
🚲 Access to electric bikes for local mobility
✈️ Travel costs to and from Slovenia covered according to Erasmus+ distance rules
