🌍 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering project takes place in Limoges, France 🇫🇷, within Léon Blum College.
The project focuses on sustainable development education, civic engagement, and youth participation in a secondary school environment. Volunteers actively support students in becoming engaged, responsible citizens while promoting sustainability values at school and local community level.
🎯 Main Activities & Tasks
🌱 Supporting students’ civic engagement with a strong focus on sustainable development
🏫 Assisting student-led initiatives within the Maison des Collégiens (Students’ Club)
🇪🇺 Acting as a European Sustainable Development Ambassador inside the school
🤝 Cooperating with local associations and youth organisations
🎭 Joining the animation team of CAP Panazol (local youth authority)
📣 Promoting school projects and strengthening links with local partners
💻 Supporting communication and visibility through digital tools and social media
👤 Participant Profile
🌍 Awareness of sustainability and environmental topics
🗣️ Strong communication and group facilitation skills
💻 Ability to use digital tools (websites, social media, creative platforms)
🤝 Initiative, teamwork spirit and openness to collaboration
🇫🇷 French language level A2 is an asset but not mandatory
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Transport
🏡 Individual room with private bathroom in student accommodation
🍽️ Shared kitchen on the same floor with mostly international students
🏫 Lunch provided directly at the school
