๐ŸŒŸ Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by Vitadacani โ€“ Associazione a tutela dei diritti animali, coordinated by NO BORDERS, and based in Arese, Italy. The project focuses on animal welfare, animal rights advocacy, and daily care of rescued dogs and farm animals, offering a fully immersive experience for volunteers who want to dedicate themselves to protecting animals and promoting ethical lifestyles.

๐ŸŽฏ Main Activities
๐Ÿ• Daily care of dogs: feeding, walking, cleaning & wellbeing support
๐Ÿงน Cleaning sleeping areas, shelter spaces & outdoor territory
๐Ÿฆด Getting to know each animalโ€™s personality and special needs
๐Ÿ“ฃ Supporting animal rights events & awareness activities
๐Ÿ“ฑ Helping with social media communication & website content
๐Ÿ„ Supporting rescued farm animals in Magnago

๐Ÿ  Accommodation, Food & Financial Support
๐Ÿก Shared apartment (double room) for 4 volunteers
๐Ÿ’ถ Pocket money: 6 EUR per day
๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Food allowance: 110 EUR per month + lunch on working days
๐Ÿฅ— Vegan diet required while working in the shelter
๐Ÿšถ Small-town living โ€“ shelter and accommodation located about 1 hour from a big city

๐ŸŽ“ Training & Support
๐ŸŽ“ On-Arrival Training organised by the National Agency
๐Ÿพ Task-specific training on animal care, hygiene & safety
๐Ÿ“ฑ Guidance for communication and outreach tasks

๐Ÿ‘ค Participant Profile
โค๏ธ Strong love for animals, especially dogs
๐Ÿถ Experience with animals (shelters, pet-sitting, veterinary/biology background preferred)
๐Ÿ’ช Ready for physical work, early mornings & outdoor tasks
๐Ÿก Willing to live immersed in shelter life and animal care
๐ŸŒฑ Open to the organisationโ€™s values (antispeciesism & veganism during activities)
๐Ÿ“ฑ Basic understanding of Instagram/TikTok is a plus
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Motivated to learn Italian
๐Ÿ“„ CV and motivation letter must be in English
