🧩 Project Overview
This European Solidarity Corps individual volunteering opportunity is hosted by KINONIKI SINETAIRISTIKI EPICHERISIELLINIKI SYMMETOCHI NEON (Hellenic Youth Participation – HYP) and takes place in Athens, Greece 🇬🇷.
STEPS brings together 2 volunteers to support intercultural dialogue, non-formal education, solidarity, and youth participation. Volunteers engage directly with local organisations, design workshops, run social media and awareness campaigns, organise community actions, and experiment with podcasts and digital storytelling—all while learning in a multicultural environment.

🎯 Main Activities & Responsibilities
🤝 Supporting local organisations in Athens according to interests (food collection & distribution, multicultural library, work with migrants, second-hand collective shop)
🧠 Designing and delivering workshops for adults and teenagers
🌍 Supporting HYP activities and European opportunities dissemination
📱 Creating online awareness campaigns and managing Instagram, TikTok, Facebook
🎙️ Creating podcast episodes
🧹 Organising local events (clean-ups, cultural workshops, community actions)

🏠 Accommodation, Food & Local Transport
🏡 Accommodation in a shared 4-bedroom flat (shared kitchen & bathroom)
💶 €180/month pocket money
🍽️ €180/month food & local transport allowance
✈️ International travel reimbursed according to the EU distance calculator
