About the Opportunity
ChargeUp Europe — the leading voice of the electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure industry — is offering a dynamic internship opportunity in Brussels, Belgium for aspiring young communication professionals. This internship places you at the center of the fast-growing EV ecosystem shaping Europe’s green and digital transition. You will join an international team supporting communication campaigns, social media content creation, events, stakeholder outreach, and member services.
What You Will Do
💬 Social Media & Communication Outreach
• Create engaging short- and long-form social media content (primarily LinkedIn)
• Design infographics and visual data summaries
• Conduct outreach to podcast guests, campaign partners, and stakeholders
• Draft written content for social media, website updates, and internal communication
📝 Support to the Communications & Policy Team
• Assist with research, document formatting, and administrative communication tasks
• Support daily communication with members
• Gather, analyse, and synthesise insights from diverse reports and data sources

🎨 Creative & Concept Development
• Contribute fresh creative ideas for campaigns
• Support in shaping visuals, messaging, and event concepts
🎤 Events & Logistical Support
• Assist with the organisation of online and onsite events
• Prepare invitations, links, and communication kits
🤝 Member Services
• Respond to ad-hoc member requests
• Support member-facing communication tasks
Who They Are Looking For
🎓 Master's degree in communications, political science, IR, social sciences or related fields
🇪🇺 Basic understanding of EU institutions and policy landscape
✍️ Excellent English writing skills
⚡ Interest in e-mobility and sustainability
📱 Experience writing content for LinkedIn
🤝 Strong interpersonal & organisational skills

Additional assets:
• Experience with X/BlueSky account management
• Familiarity with video editing tools
Internship Details
📅 Duration: January – June 2026 (6 months)
📍 Location: Brussels, Belgium (hybrid working possible)
📄 Contract: CIP – Convention d’immersion professionnelle
💶 Remuneration: According to CIP guidelines
