About the Project 🇹🇷🏅
Hosted by Adana Gençlik ve Spor İl Müdürlüğü, this ESC volunteering opportunity in Adana, Türkiye 🇹🇷 focuses on promoting athletics, healthy lifestyle habits, and youth participation in sports. The project aims to inspire young people to integrate physical activity into their daily lives while raising awareness about the social, physical, and psychological benefits of sports. Volunteers will support activities designed to teach fundamental athletics principles, encourage regular exercise, develop teamwork and solidarity, and empower youth to take active roles in their communities through sports.
Project Activities 🏃♀️🏅🤝
- 🏅 Learning & teaching basic athletics techniques
- 🏋️♂️ Supporting physical training & sports routines
- 🤝 Developing team spirit & solidarity among youth
- 🧠 Promoting athlete psychology & healthy habits
- 🎤 Participating in sports seminars & educational workshops
- 🏃 Assisting activities in athletic fields & sports facilities
- 🌍 Motivating young people to build active, healthy lifestyles
Accommodation, Food & Transport 🏠🍽️🚐
- 🏨 Out-of-town participants hosted in Youth & Sports Directorate facilities
- 🌐 Access to Wi-Fi, sports fields & common areas
- 🍽️ Meals provided by the Provincial Directorate
- 🚐 Transportation to training & event venues organized by the host
- 🏟️ Activities take place in athletics & sports facilities in Adana
Training & Support 🎓🏃
- 🏅 Training in athletics fundamentals & sport branches
- 🩺 Sessions on athlete health, preparation & motivation
- 🧠 Guidance on nutrition, safety & basic sports psychology
- 🎯 Practical sessions, peer learning & group work
