The Finance Intern will support the Regional Finance Unit (RFU), assisting in document verification, audit preparation, financial reporting, and data analysis. š Key Responsibilities:
1ļøā£ External Audit Support:
- Collect and consolidate audit documentation from IFRC country offices across the Asia Pacific region.
- Track audit documentation and ensure completeness and compliance.
- Liaise with finance teams to maintain smooth audit workflows.
2ļøā£ Accounting & Reporting Assistance:
- Support monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting.
- Run reports using IFRCās Business Object (BO) system.
- Review reconciliations and assist in preparing summaries for management.
3ļøā£ Documentation Verification:
- Verify transaction documents for accuracy and compliance with IFRC financial policies.
- Cross-check supporting documentation and highlight inconsistencies.
- Collaborate with financial analysts to ensure data integrity.
