This unique volunteering opportunity welcomes motivated young people who want to develop practical skills, support inclusive activities, and help manage one of the largest scout centres in Europe. You’ll work with international teams, contribute to community events, and grow through outdoor learning and team spirit. 🌍
🔥 What You’ll Do:
- 🌲 Assist in running the scout centre’s daily operations (maintenance, logistics, outdoor support)
- 🍴 Help in the canteen kitchen and team-building activities
- 🏕️ Join scout events and summer camps as staff
- 🌍 Support projects focusing on inclusion, diversity, and green policies
- 💡 Lead or join a personal project based on your skills and interests
🏡 Living & Support Conditions:
- Shared apartment for 6 volunteers (private room + shared kitchen, laundry, and living space).
- All food, accommodation, and utilities fully covered.
- 🚗 Two shared cars available for work and leisure; buses available but limited due to the countryside location.
- The centre covers all basic living expenses, so you can focus on learning and community life!
🎓 Training & Learning Opportunities:
- 💪 Personal training in all daily centre activities
- 🧭 “Volunteer Upstart Sessions” in the first month + mid-term sessions
- 🎓 Participation in On-Arrival and Mid-Term ESC Trainings by the National Agency
- 🛶 Access to free-time activities like canoeing, kayaking, and outdoor adventures
- 🌱 Learn teamwork, leadership, and sustainability skills from experienced mentors
