How do we move from individualism to community? From isolation to connection? From “I” to “us”? 🇪🇸✨
This international training course, hosted in Spain and co-financed by the European Union, brings together youth workers, educators and community leaders to explore collaboration, belonging, group dynamics, and collective decision-making. Built on ten years of intentional community experience, the project offers practical tools for transforming youth work into a more inclusive, cooperative and resilient space. 🌱🤝🌍

🌍 About the Training Course

Today’s youth and societies face challenges that no individual can solve alone. This course responds by introducing tools from ecovillages, intentional communities and collaborative structures, including:

💬 Non-Violent Communication
🔄 Sociocracy
🧭 Collective decision-making
🤝 Group dynamics & shared responsibility

Together, participants will explore how personal empowerment and group empowerment reinforce one another — building healthier teams, stronger communities and more impactful youth work. 🌿✨

🎯 Objectives of the Training

This programme focuses on two interconnected dimensions:

🌱 1. Empowering the Individual (“I”)

– Tools for personal needs, talents & values
– Reflection on purpose, motivation & inner leadership
– Supporting young people to realise their full potential

🤝 2. Building the Collective (“Us”)

– Group processes & inclusive participation
– Tools for cooperation, shared responsibility & belonging
– Methods to create resilient communities facing today’s challenges

👥 Participant Profile

The training brings together 24 participants from 12 countries who:

✨ Are youth workers, educators, project coordinators, activists or young leaders
✨ Have experience working with young people
✨ Are motivated to learn about sustainability, community building & facilitation
✨ Can participate fully in preparation + 6-day training + follow-up
✨ Speak English well
✨ Bring diversity in age, gender & background
