⭐ About the Project
The Volunteering in Synergia 2026 project, hosted by SYAJ – Associação Juvenil Synergia in Braga, Portugal, invites young people to join a powerful mission:
spreading awareness about global social, economic, and environmental challenges, and encouraging communities to embrace the Sustainable Development Goals of the UN Agenda 2030. 🌍✨
Through local initiatives, creative activities, youth engagement, and solidarity actions, volunteers will help build a stronger, more informed, and more active community — where young people become agents of change at local, national, and international levels.
📌 Activity Highlights
- 🌱 Promote SDGs and sustainability campaigns
- 🎨 Support creative, cultural & sports activities at CADI
- 🤝 Engage with local youth, especially those with fewer opportunities
- 📣 Participate in awareness-raising and community outreach
- 🌍 Work with partner organisations on local development actions
- 💬 Support communication, teamwork, leadership & intercultural learning initiatives
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Transport
- 🏠 Accommodation in Synergia Residence (shared rooms, bed sheets, towels, kitchen, WiFi)
- 🍽️ Food + pocket money provided by the hosting organisation
- 🚌 Local transportation provided for activities
- 🎭 Most activities held at CADI – Inclusive Center of Arts and Sports
🎓 Training Provided
- 🧭 Pre-departure training on ESC, expectations & Youthpass
- 💻 Access to ESC Portal online training
- 🗣️ Language learning support (Portuguese)
- 🌍 Non-formal education, peer learning & intercultural learning
- 🇪🇺 Additional training sessions organised by the Erasmus+ National Agency
👤 Participant Profile
SYnergia is looking for volunteers who:
- Are 18–30 years old
- Want to support young people with fewer opportunities
- Are dynamic, empathetic, responsible & proactive
- Enjoy teamwork and community engagement
- Have good English communication skills
- Are open to learning Portuguese
- Want to make a difference for people and the planet 🌍💚
