The Youth Worker Forum “Radicalisation” brings together youth workers from across Europe to deeply examine the challenges of youth radicalisation, share expertise, discover innovative approaches, and build a strong international professional network. Hosted at the historic Pestalozzi Children’s Village in Trogen, this unique gathering offers expert input, workshops, peer exchange, and first-hand insights into cutting-edge digital streetwork initiatives in Switzerland.

Minimum age: 22+
Requirements:
- Experience with adolescents or young adults
- Ability to participate on-site for the full week
- Attendance of at least 1 of 3 preparatory meetings
- Working in contexts involving radicalisation, prevention, or youth risk behaviours
📚 About the Forum
Throughout the week, participants will:
- Attend expert-led workshops
- Explore the radicalisation phenomenon through practical sessions
- Develop action plans for local youth work
- Join discussions led by Pestalozzi Children’s Village specialists
- Connect with professionals from multiple European countries
- Reflect on the intersection between formal and non-formal education
Participants also gain access to the simultaneous European Youth Forum (EYFT), which gathers over 100 young people from Europe to discuss pressing social challenges.
This interaction provides a unique blend of youth worker expertise and youth perspectives.
