The organisationโ€™s work spans the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and East Jerusalem, supporting women and communities facing vulnerability and inequality.


๐Ÿ’ก About the Project

This ESC humanitarian volunteering project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to administrative and financial operations in a humanitarian context. Volunteers will:
๐Ÿ“Š Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets
๐Ÿ“ Support the financial justification and reporting of EU-funded projects
๐ŸŒ Collaborate with Alianzaโ€™s expert team and partner organisations
๐Ÿค Participate in awareness, coordination, and gender equality activities
๐Ÿ’ฌ Gain insight into international cooperation, finance systems, and field operations

This role provides a valuable learning experience in NGO financial management, humanitarian project monitoring, and gender-based programming.


๐Ÿก Accommodation, Food & Allowance

๐Ÿ  Volunteers live in shared accommodation in Amman, with private bedrooms and utilities fully covered.
๐Ÿ“ถ A phone card is provided.
๐Ÿ’ถ Monthly allowance: โ‚ฌ813.70 (covers food and local transport).
๐Ÿฉบ Comprehensive Henner health insurance included.
๐Ÿšถ Freedom of movement within security guidelines.


๐Ÿงญ Training & Support

๐Ÿ“š Pre-departure and on-site induction by Alianza por la Solidaridad.
๐ŸŽ“ ESC orientation covering programme principles, Youthpass, and insurance.
๐Ÿ’ช Additional thematic training in:

  • Feminist principles and gender equality
  • International Humanitarian Law
  • Security management
  • Inclusion and disability awareness

๐Ÿ‘ค Participant Profile

Weโ€™re looking for motivated candidates who:
โœจ Are eager to learn and adapt in a multicultural, complex environment
๐Ÿ’ฌ Speak fluent English (Arabic or Spanish is a plus)
๐Ÿ“Š Have interest or basic knowledge in administration, finance, or development cooperation
๐ŸŒ Are passionate about humanitarian aid and gender equality
๐Ÿค Can work collaboratively and respect cultural diversity
๐Ÿ’ก Previous volunteering or NGO experience is an advantage, but not required.
