The organisationโs work spans the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and East Jerusalem, supporting women and communities facing vulnerability and inequality.
๐ก About the Project
This ESC humanitarian volunteering project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to administrative and financial operations in a humanitarian context. Volunteers will:
๐ Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets
๐ Support the financial justification and reporting of EU-funded projects
๐ Collaborate with Alianzaโs expert team and partner organisations
๐ค Participate in awareness, coordination, and gender equality activities
๐ฌ Gain insight into international cooperation, finance systems, and field operations
This role provides a valuable learning experience in NGO financial management, humanitarian project monitoring, and gender-based programming.
๐ก Accommodation, Food & Allowance
๐ Volunteers live in shared accommodation in Amman, with private bedrooms and utilities fully covered.
๐ถ A phone card is provided.
๐ถ Monthly allowance: โฌ813.70 (covers food and local transport).
๐ฉบ Comprehensive Henner health insurance included.
๐ถ Freedom of movement within security guidelines.
๐งญ Training & Support
๐ Pre-departure and on-site induction by Alianza por la Solidaridad.
๐ ESC orientation covering programme principles, Youthpass, and insurance.
๐ช Additional thematic training in:
- Feminist principles and gender equality
- International Humanitarian Law
- Security management
- Inclusion and disability awareness
๐ค Participant Profile
Weโre looking for motivated candidates who:
โจ Are eager to learn and adapt in a multicultural, complex environment
๐ฌ Speak fluent English (Arabic or Spanish is a plus)
๐ Have interest or basic knowledge in administration, finance, or development cooperation
๐ Are passionate about humanitarian aid and gender equality
๐ค Can work collaboratively and respect cultural diversity
๐ก Previous volunteering or NGO experience is an advantage, but not required.
