💡 About the Project
This ESC humanitarian volunteering project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to administrative and financial operations in a humanitarian context. Volunteers will:
📊 Assist in preparing and monitoring project budgets
📁 Support the financial justification and reporting of EU-funded projects
🌍 Collaborate with Alianza’s expert team and partner organisations
🤝 Participate in awareness, coordination, and gender equality activities
💬 Gain insight into international cooperation, finance systems, and field operations
This role provides a valuable learning experience in NGO financial management, humanitarian project monitoring, and gender-based programming.
🏡 Accommodation, Food & Allowance
🏠 Volunteers live in shared accommodation in Amman, with private bedrooms and utilities fully covered.
📶 A phone card is provided.
💶 Monthly allowance: €813.70 (covers food and local transport).
🩺 Comprehensive Henner health insurance included.
🚶 Freedom of movement within security guidelines.
🧭 Training & Support
📚 Pre-departure and on-site induction by Alianza por la Solidaridad.
🎓 ESC orientation covering programme principles, Youthpass, and insurance.
💪 Additional thematic training in:
- Feminist principles and gender equality
- International Humanitarian Law
- Security management
- Inclusion and disability awareness
👤 Participant Profile
We’re looking for motivated candidates who:
✨ Are eager to learn and adapt in a multicultural, complex environment
💬 Speak fluent English (Arabic or Spanish is a plus)
📊 Have interest or basic knowledge in administration, finance, or development cooperation
🌍 Are passionate about humanitarian aid and gender equality
🤝 Can work collaboratively and respect cultural diversity
💡 Previous volunteering or NGO experience is an advantage, but not required.
