As a volunteer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team, actively contributing to activities like global citizenship education, community integration, event organization, website and social media management, and supporting projects in developing countries. 🏠 Accommodation, Food, and Transport:
Guardavanti provides shared apartments in Varese with double rooms. Receive a daily pocket money of 5€, a food allowance of 160€ per month, and reimbursement for travel expenses based on European Commission guidelines. Activities span locations in Somma Lombardo, Milan, and its province.
🎓 Training Opportunities:
Participate in On Arrival Training, Mid Term Evaluation, and training sessions organized by the Italian National Agency and Associazione Joint. Enhance your skills and understanding throughout your volunteering journey.
👤 Participant Profile:
We’re seeking proactive, open-minded volunteers with a passion for working with children and young people, summer camps, event planning, office/administrative tasks, and social media management. Previous volunteering experience and interest in international cooperation, interculturality, human rights, and education are valued. Basic Italian or strong motivation to learn it is required.
📆 Activity Dates:
21-week volunteering period from 01/04/2024 to 31/08/2024.
