What You Will Do

Ready to make a positive impact? 🙌 Your tasks at the Marc Toussaint House, a center for disabled adults, will include:

  • Running Activities! 🎨 Taking part in and organizing leisure activities like handicrafts, computer workshops, and games.
  • Sport & Wellbeing! 🤸‍♀️ Helping with adapted sports and wellbeing sessions.
  • Going on Outings! 🚌 Joining the residents on trips and excursions.
  • Collaborating! 🤝 Working with another European volunteer, French volunteers, and two activity leaders.

Participant Profile

This is a perfect project for you if you:

  • Are Empathetic! ❤️ Have a sense of listening, patience, and good communication skills.
  • Enjoy Helping! 🙏 Are ready to support people with daily tasks.
  • Are Proactive! 💡 Have a minimum of initiative and a willingness to learn.
  • Speak French! 🗣️ A basic knowledge of French is necessary and you should be willing to improve it.

What We Offer

  • Accommodation: 🏡 You will have your own flat.
  • Food & Pocket Money: 💰 You'll receive food from the organization's restaurant during the week and money for weekends, plus a monthly pocket money.

  • Travel Costs: ✈️ Your travel costs to and from the project will be reimbursed.
  • Training: 🎓 You'll participate in "Welcome" and "Mid-term" training seminars in France.
