✨ About the Project
At “Tuin – Il Giardino”, 16 unaccompanied minors live and grow while developing their personal projects. Volunteers will:
- Organize recreational activities (games, workshops, sports, arts) 🎨🎲
- Support educators in daily routines and commitments 🏫
- Create and co-facilitate specific workshops with staff 🛠️
- Build trust and meaningful relationships with young residents 💬
- Contribute to maintaining shared spaces and meals 🍝
This experience combines education, solidarity, and intercultural exchange, helping vulnerable youth find their place in society.
🏠 Accommodation, Food & Allowance
- Shared apartment in Genoa (double/triple rooms) 🏡
- Daily allowance: €6/day (pocket money + food or food allowance) 💶
- Travel expenses reimbursed according to European Commission rules ✈️
🎓 Training & Support
- National Agency trainings: On-Arrival, Mid-Term, Final Evaluation 🎓
- P.E.CO. trainings with other Genoa-based ESC volunteers 🤝
- Specific training from La Comunità on working with young people from complex backgrounds 🌍
👤 Participant Profile
We are looking for volunteers who are:
- Aged 22–30 🧑
- Available for at least 6 months
- Mature, responsible, tolerant, and empathetic 💛
- Creative and proactive in working with young people 🎭
- Open to learning Italian 🇮🇹
- Motivated to assist in the educational and training process
