📖 Project Description
La Comunità, a social cooperative active in Genoa since 1979, works to support children and families in fragile contexts by providing educational, cultural, and social services.
As a volunteer, you will:
- 🎒 Support educators with children’s daily commitments (school pickups, homework help, creative workshops, sports, outdoor activities)
- 🍽️ Share meals and help manage common spaces
- 👨👩👧 Work with families during crisis situations
- 🎭 Contribute to recreational and intercultural activities
This role is ideal for someone passionate about youth work, inclusion, and education, ready to make a meaningful impact.

🏠 Accommodation & Meals
- 🏡 Shared apartment in Genoa (double/triple rooms)
- 💶 Pocket money: €6 per day
- 🍴 Food provided or food allowance included
- 🚍 Travel reimbursement according to ESC rules
🎓 Training & Support
- 🧭 On-arrival, mid-term & final evaluation training (Italian National Agency)
- 🤝 Additional training with P.E.CO. and other ESC volunteers in Genoa
- 📚 Specific training for work with children & families
- 🏅 Youthpass certificate recognizing competences
👤 Participant Profile
We are looking for volunteers who are:
- 👩🎓 Aged 20–30, available for 6 months
- ✨ Mature, autonomous, patient, and creative
- 🧑🏫 Motivated to support children and youth from complex family backgrounds
- 💡 Possessing strong communication & interpersonal skills
- 🌍 Open to intercultural exchange and teamwork
