Looking for a one-year adventure that combines nature, inclusion, and meaningful work? 🏞️ This ESC volunteering project invites you to northern Sweden to promote outdoor life 🌳 among immigrants and people with disabilities — groups that often miss out on nature’s incredible benefits.
As a volunteer, you'll plan and run outdoor activities throughout the seasons (yes, even the snowy ones! ❄️) and encourage vulnerable groups to experience the joy of hiking, camping, and simply being in nature. You'll work closely with the local outdoor team — but you'll also need to bring lots of creativity, independence, and heart 💚.
🏡 Volunteers are housed in private apartments near the workplace with shared common areas. A monthly allowance covers food and personal needs.
📚 Swedish language courses and seminars are included.
🧥 Warm clothing provided for the cold months!
🌍 Eligible Countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain
🎯 Who can apply?
If you speak English and Arabic, have outdoor skills, and love working with people from different backgrounds and abilities — this is for you! French or Persian are a plus. Be ready to adapt to a range of weather conditions 🌦️ and work on evenings or weekends when needed.
