Spend one unforgettable year volunteering with L’Essentiel asbl in La Hulpe, Belgium, supporting people with disabilities in their daily lives, creative growth, and social engagement. 👥 What You’ll Do:
- Support residents with disabilities in daily routines
- Join and lead activities in sport, culture, art & communication
- Co-create workshops, events, or personal projects with residents
- Share your skills and learn from people of diverse abilities
- Be part of a caring and inclusive team
🎨 Your creativity and ideas are welcome – volunteers can suggest new activities based on their passions and background!
🏡 Accommodation & Support:
- 🛏️ Private room in a shared flat with other ESC volunteers
- 🚲 Bike and local bus access for commuting
- 🍽️ Monthly food & pocket money + free lunch during working days
- 🧭 Full support from mentor & tutor at the host organization
📚 Trainings & Language Support:
- 🇧🇪 On-Arrival Training & Mid-Term Evaluation by the Belgian National Agency
- 🧑🤝🧑 "Get Together" seminars by coordinating NGO Compagnons Bâtisseurs Belgium
- 🗣️ French lessons (online + in-person options) available
- 🎓 Access to leadership trainings through CBB
👤 Who Can Apply?
