Join the ESC at KV KAOS Kulturwerkstatt in Leipzig, Germany! 🇩🇪
Activity Description: This exciting opportunity is hosted by the Kindervereinigung Leipzig e. V. and is located at Haus Wasserstr. 18 within the KAOS Kulturwerkstatt. Here, you will be part of five projects, including the Competence Center for International Youth Work and non-formal Education (KIJA), the Cultural Workshop KAOS!, the playbus project, the Workshop-Studio Inside/Outside, and the Counselling Center for Worldview Issues. Your role will revolve around various aspects of youth work, non-formal education, and cultural activities.
What’s Included:
- You’ll have a mentor providing regular feedback and support at the hosting organization.
- Your weekly project time will be 35 hours, with weekends and holidays free. You’ll have the opportunity to take two holidays per month and can accumulate them for longer breaks.
Training During the Activity:
- You’ll attend two seminars organized by Jugend für Europa, the national agency of Germany.
- You’ll also participate in several project days focusing on topics related to Europe and mobility in Europe for all ESC volunteers.
Participant Profile:
- Interest in working with young people.
- Some organizational skills, open-mindedness, and creative ideas.
- The focus is on integration, so there are no strict selection criteria.
- A mandatory measles vaccination is required.
Activity Dates: A 52-week volunteering opportunity from March 1, 2024, to February 28, 2025.
