What This Role Is About
As Knowledge Management Specialist (Emergency Fundraising) at the P-3 level, you will continuously strengthen how knowledge flows across UNICEF's global fundraising ecosystem. Four Core Areas of Responsibility
🗂️ Knowledge Management and Information Sharing — Designing and maintaining systems that allow emergency fundraising teams to surface, share, and act on relevant knowledge across UNICEF's global organisation.
💻 Digital Knowledge Solutions — Leading or contributing to AI-enabled tools and digital architectures, including enterprise search, taxonomy, and content architecture.
📚 Knowledge Products, Learning, and Capacity Building — Developing knowledge products, learning materials, and capacity-building initiatives for geographically dispersed fundraising teams.
📊 Analysis, Reporting, and Continuous Improvement — Using data, user insights, and usage analytics to assess, report on, and improve knowledge management and digital information solutions.
Education Requirements
🎓 A Master's degree (or equivalent Advanced University Degree) in Knowledge Management, Information Management, Information Science, Communications Science, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant area combined with 2 additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu.
Professional Experience Required
🗓️ A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in knowledge management, information management, digital knowledge solutions, information architecture, digital transformation, data and analytics, or related fields.
🤖 AI-Enabled Knowledge Solutions — Proven experience leading or coordinating implementation of AI-enabled solutions for information and knowledge management.
🏗️ Knowledge Management Systems — Experience designing, implementing, or managing knowledge management systems, including content architecture, taxonomy, information retrieval.
📈 Data-Driven Improvement — Experience using data, user insights, or usage analytics to assess and improve knowledge management solutions.
🌍 Humanitarian or Development Context — Experience in knowledge or information management within humanitarian, emergency, or development contexts.
