Which Team Will You Join?
You will join the Mobilisation, Strategy and Partnership team of Proparco. The team is attached to the General Management (Direction Générale) and is made up of 7 people, so the intern works close to the organisation's leadership and its strategic decisions.
Partnerships Work: About Half of Your Time
For roughly 50% of the time, the intern supports the officer in charge of partnerships in the team, in order to:
🔍 Carry out benchmarks and monitoring work on development finance institutions, market trends and the issues around financing the private sector in emerging countries, using generative AI
🗺️ Define and follow up a relationship roadmap with Proparco's priority partners
🎤 Prepare the participation of Proparco's General Management in certain high-level events and meetings
🖥️ Structure and keep up to date the intranet page of the partnership team
🧩 Support the team in its relations with the AFD departments in charge of national and international partnerships
Strategy Work: The Other Half
For the other 50% of the time, the intern supports the officer in charge of strategy in the team, in order to:
🧭 Contribute to strategic monitoring and steering, by consolidating the main performance and impact indicators
📈 Carry out strategic and sector analyses that inform the organisation's orientations and priorities
📝 Take part in preparing summary notes, analyses and presentation materials for management and governance bodies
📊 Support the production and updating of steering dashboards, together with the different operational departments
🗃️ Contribute to improving the production and monitoring of internal data so that decisions are better informed
🏛️ Support the organisation and preparation of strategic committees and steering meetings, as well as the follow-up of the related decisions and actions
