🇫🇮 ESC Volunteering in Finland 🎄 Christmas Themed Event for Local Families at a Youth Centre ❄️

Description

Project takes place in Ankkapurha Youth Centre in Kouvola, Finland, only 1,5h from Helsinki. Volunteer’s main job is organizing a Christmas themed event in the Youth Centre area for local families with the help of Ankkapurha Youth Centre workers. Volunteers will plan activities and work in the event. We offer volunteers a chance to give something from themselves and their culture to Youth Centre’s work community and to our young customers while learning about Finnish culture.

Please note that volunteers will be contacted and interviewed during weeks 44 and 45.

The work happens mainly at surroundings of youth centre. At time to move somewhere youth centre will provide tickets. For moving from airport and back while travelling to and from Finland Ankkapurha Youth Centre staff will help to find the best options for transport.
