✨ ABOUT THE PROJECT
Join Terzo Millennio - Laboratorio di Umana Solidarietà APS and take part in an intercultural volunteering experience that fosters inclusion, diversity, and active citizenship 🌍✨
This project takes place in Melendugno and Castri di Lecce, giving volunteers the opportunity to:
✅ Engage with local and migrant communities through cultural and recreational activities
✅ Support children and teenagers with educational workshops, sports, arts, and creative events
✅ Participate in intercultural events such as seminars, workshops, and human rights campaigns
✅ Raise awareness on anti-racism, migration, and social inclusion
🚀 A hands-on experience in community engagement, social work, and cultural exchange!
🏡 ACCOMMODATION, FOOD & TRANSPORT
🏠 Housing: Volunteers will live in a shared flat with other participants in Melendugno
🍽️ Meals: Volunteers receive a monthly food allowance and can cook in a fully equipped kitchen
🚲 Transport: Most activities are within walking distance, and bikes will be provided! 🚴
📚 TRAINING & SUPPORT
🎓 What You’ll Learn:
✔️ Orientation & welcome training
✔️ Practical training on community work & event planning
✔️ Italian language courses to enhance interaction with locals
✔️ Hands-on skills in youth work, cultural mediation, and teamwork
🎯 WHO CAN APPLY?
🔹 No specific skills or diploma required!
🔹 Enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive individuals
🔹 Passionate about working with children, young people, and diverse communities
🔹 Flexible, patient, and open to new experiences
🔹 Basic knowledge of Italian is a plus but not required 🇮🇹
