🇫🇷 Erasmus+ Training Course in France 🏛️ EU Citizenship and Democratic Participation 🗳️

Description

"Europe Unlocked" is an Erasmus+ Training Course bringing together 23 young people, youth workers and youth leaders from France, Germany, Türkiye, Spain and Estonia in Cahors, France, from 20 to 28 October 2026.

Through non-formal education methods; debates, role-plays, simulations, group work and intercultural exchange, participants will explore the European Union and its institutions, European citizenship and democratic participation, and reflect on how to bring these topics back into their local youth work.

TARGET GROUP: This activity is primarily aimed at people active in the field of non-formal learning and youth work — youth workers, youth leaders, trainers, educators and young people engaged in civic and democratic participation — who want to strengthen their competences on EU citizenship and use them in their work with young people. We give special priority to those working with young people with fewer opportunities (rural areas, economic difficulties, migrant background). Participants should be 18+, able to work in English and available for the full duration of the activity.

PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES: France, Germany, Türkiye, Spain and Estonia. Asociación On My Way is currently recruiting 4 additional participants from SPAIN.

COSTS: Accommodation, food and training materials are 100% covered by the Erasmus+ programme (no participation fee). Travel is reimbursed up to €309 per participant from Spain (up to €417 when using green/sustainable travel), against original tickets and receipts.
