Description

“Aviliukas” is a municipality-established kindergarten for children aged 1 to 6. We respect every individual and value their uniqueness. Our approach is based on experiential learning, aiming to create an educational environment everywhere, all the time. We are a modern organization with a creative, tolerant team, open to other cultures and eager to show young people what working in a kindergarten is like.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

The volunteer will receive free accommodation during their stay and a private room in a shared apartment. You will have a monthly ticket for public transportation and monthly food and pocket money.

* If needed, we can provide support and provide food products.

Training during the activity

- Volunteering group meetings once a month;

- Meeting with a mentor once a month;

- On-arrival and mid-term training;

- Online language learning;

- Participating in public solidarity events;

- Organization of info/promo solidarity events.

Participant profile

Do you love spending time with young children and have a passion for creativity, play, and learning? We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated volunteer to join our team and support our work with children aged 3 to 6 years old.

We’d love to meet you if you are:

*Active, creative, and full of positive energy

*Communicative and comfortable speaking in English

*Emotionally intelligent and open to all kinds of children’s emotions — both the sunny smiles and the stormy days

*Ready to collaborate with both children and staff

*Living a healthy lifestyle — no smoking, alcohol, or other substances during work hours

Excited to contribute your time and talents to a supportive, welcoming environment
