Make a difference, meet new people, and bring your ideas to life in Romania!

Join our volunteer team in Craiova and help create more opportunities for young people in the community. You’ll work alongside local and international volunteers to promote inclusion, active citizenship, and solidarity through hands-on activities.

You could lead interactive workshops in schools, collaborate with local NGOs and community groups, and help organize public even. Along the way, you’ll exchange ideas with people from different backgrounds, develop your skills, and see the impact of your work firsthand.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Volunteers will receive a monthly food allowance of 180 euros and 4 euros/day pocket money in Lei (Romanian currency).

A monthly local transport pass will be provided to each volunteer.

Accommodation will be provided in rented apartments, shared rooms (2 people/room, same gender per room).

Training during the activity

Volunteers will take part in the programme’s on-arrival training

Volunteers will receive an introduction to the project, their tasks, and the local community .

Throughout the opportunity, they will receive guidance and practical support as they plan and deliver school workshops, collaborate with local organisations

Participant profile

- Age: 18–30 years old

-Must not have completed a long-term EVS or ESC

- Language Skills: Medium-level English (speaking and writing) required. Motivation & Commitment: Highly motivated to participate and actively engaged in the selection process

- Willing to take on project tasks and responsibilities, remaining involved even after the project’s completion
