TTT - Tierra, Techo, Trabajo, a non-profit organisation in Agrigento, Sicily, is offering an Erasmus+ traineeship in the tourism, cultural heritage and visitor experience sectors. This is a placement of at least 4 months (35 hours per week) where you join a network of partners working with visitors, cultural sites and travel services in Agrigento. Based on your profile and interests, you will be assigned to a specific track. The application deadline is 31 August 2026.


The Two Internship Tracks

The placement is organised around two tracks:

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Cultural sites and visitor experience: suited to candidates interested in cultural heritage, museums, events and direct interaction with visitors. Tasks include welcoming and supporting visitors at cultural and tourism sites, providing information about exhibitions and activities, supporting educational activities and workshops (especially with school groups), assisting or leading guided visits, coordinating visitor flow and group logistics, supporting the organisation of cultural events (music, astronomy, seasonal events), and contributing to the promotion of cultural activities.

๐Ÿงณ Tourism services and travel agency support: suited to candidates interested in tourism operations, customer service and travel planning. Tasks include front-office activities and customer reception, supporting travel planning and booking processes, helping organise itineraries and tours, providing information to clients on travel options and local experiences, assisting with administrative tasks, and contributing to communication and promotional activities.

Who They're Looking For

For the cultural track, the ideal candidate studies tourism, cultural heritage, history, archaeology or communication, has a strong interest in culture and working with the public, good communication skills and comfort speaking in front of small groups. For the tourism-services track, the ideal candidate studies tourism, business administration, marketing or communication, with strong organisational and communication skills and an interest in administrative coordination. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus in both, and at least a B1 level in English is required.
