🇷🇸 Youth Exchange in Serbia ☮️ Scouts United for Peace: Building Bridges in the Western Balkans 🤝

Do you believe that young people can build bridges where history has created walls? What if a conversation could change the way we see each other? Scouts United for Peace is a regional youth exchange bringing together young people from the Western Balkans, focused on dialogue, trust, reconciliation, and peacebuilding.

About the Project

The Youth Exchange "Scouts United for Peace" is a 7-day exchange and the first activity from the project "SCOUTS UNITED FOR PEACE", funded by the Regional Youth Cooperation Office (RYCO) within the 7th Open Call "The RYCOnnecting Youth", funded entirely from the RYCO core budget. The second activity planned in the project is the 6 peacebuilding follow-up actions that will be held by the participants in their local communities. No experience is needed and no perfect CV is required, just bring your curiosity, openness, and willingness to connect.

Eligible Countries

This youth exchange is open to participants from:

🇲🇰 North Macedonia

🇧🇦 Bosnia and Herzegovina

🇲🇪 Montenegro

🇽🇰 Kosovo

🇷🇸 Serbia

🇦🇱 Albania

Who Can Participate

The open call is for 32 participants, 6 each from North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia, and 2 from Albania.

Participant's profile:

🔹 Age 16 to 24

🔹 Able to participate during the exchange and the whole project "Scouts United for Peace"

🔹 Interested and motivated in the project

🔹 Has good enough knowledge of English

🔹 Willing to share their experience with others

What Is Covered

Travel, accommodation, food, and programme activities are fully provided.

Implementing Organisations

This project is implemented by Scout group Josif Pančić (Serbia) as lead applicant, with First Scout Unit of Skopje (North Macedonia), BeePark (Kosovo), Scouts of Albania, Scout group "EHO" (Montenegro) and Scout group "Pofalići" (Bosnia and Herzegovina) as partners from the Western Balkan Region.
