We love connecting with people who are far away, watching videos, and documenting everything with our phones. We use AI to explore new topics, learn about the world and solve many of our tasks. But let us admit it, it can get overstimulating out there, and these devices do not always serve us. "Digital World, Human Rhythm" is not about deleting your accounts. It is about redefining your relationship with digital tools.
About the Project
Sure, one way would be to completely disconnect, but is that really possible these days? Instead of switching off, this Erasmus+ Youth Exchange helps you switch to a healthier rhythm.

During the programme, participants live together in a group accommodation called "Piknik Park" in Mezőberény, a small town situated 180 km from Budapest. The venue is close to the town centre and also to green areas, chosen with the intention of creating a safe atmosphere for the group to focus on developing themselves. The accommodation is simple and cosy, with participants sharing rooms in groups of 2 to 5, and a spacious conference room for the workshops. At the venue there is also a place to play volleyball, football and more, to relax in breaks. There are meals 3 times a day, plus smaller coffee breaks during the day.

Who Are We Looking For?
31 young people from Spain, Portugal, Greece, Romania and Hungary, between the ages of 18 and 26 (group leaders can be older), 6 participants per country (plus 1 extra from Hungary). We are looking for young people who want to improve their skills and develop new ones in an international setting, who are ready to challenge and rethink their digital habits, keen on working in an international setting, ready to explore and challenge their social media and AI use, and ready to digitally disconnect for 24 hours.

📍 Where: Mezőberény, Hungary (180 km from Budapest)
As soon as you get your confirmation letter, you may book your tickets according to the rules sent to you. Participation in the whole youth exchange is required. Arriving earlier in Hungary or departing later is possible for a maximum of 3 extra days, but in that case you should arrange your stay for the extra days by yourself, and additional costs will not be covered by the organizers.
What Is Covered
The travel, accommodation, food and the programme itself are co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. You can get your travel costs reimbursed up to the amount stated in the programme guide. The maximum travel budgets are:
✈️ Spain: 395 EUR (or 535 EUR green travel)
✈️ Portugal: 309 EUR (or 417 EUR green travel)
✈️ Greece: 211 EUR (or 285 EUR green travel)
✈️ Romania: 56 EUR
✈️ Hungary: 56 EUR
Green travel means travelling more than 50% of the way via bus, train or carpooling, which unlocks the increased amount. The amounts in the programme guide are the maximum that will be reimbursed, and all costs exceeding these amounts will have to be covered by you.
Insurance
All participants should bring their European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). You can use the free EHIC to access public hospital treatment. Please be aware that the EHIC is not a travel insurance policy, and it will not cover private health care, non-emergency health costs, or being flown back to your home country.
How to Apply
Application deadline: 20 August 2026. The organisers encourage you not to use any generative AI tools when filling in the form, because they want to get to know you and your real motivation.
