ÉCU The European Independent Film Festival is looking for an HR intern for someone interested in human resources and passionate about independent cinema. A chance to go behind the scenes of one of the largest independent film festivals in Europe and learn directly from people working within it.

For the last 19 years, ÉCU has created an innovative and successful event bringing together filmmakers from all over the world, showcasing diverse and unique projects and giving a platform to independent talent. Each year they offer unpaid internships to creative and talented individuals willing to work hard and have fun.
The Role
🧑💼 Lead the recruitment and outreach of new interns
📅 Schedule and conduct meetings with potential candidates, keep in touch and onboard successful ones
🔎 Regularly check the platforms and universities applications come from, and reach out to new potential partners with intern ads when specific roles need filling
😊 Make sure all recruited interns are working happily and smoothly, oversee the COVID policy (including a weekly schedule when needed) and mediate any workplace issues
🌍 Learn to manage people from different backgrounds and countries while improving your communication and social skills
Requirements
🇬🇧 English at B2 level (independent user)
🎬 An interest in human resources and a passion for independent cinema

🕒 A 35-hour week, 09:45 to 17:00 Monday to Friday

Note: from time to time they organise events outside working hours (evenings or weekends). Attending isn't mandatory but is strongly recommended for networking. If your internship falls during the Festival, you'll work the Festival weekend, with those hours taken off your schedule the following week.
The Details
📍 Location: Central Paris, France (in person)
🗓️ Period: 30 August 2026 to 1 November 2026
⏳ Duration: 2 months (1 to 3 months, starting from August)
🕒 Commitment: Full-time, 35 hours/week (09:45 to 17:00, Monday to Friday)
💶 Compensation: Unpaid (no remuneration, accommodation or transport/food coverage)
