Das LOT is looking for an Erasmus+ intern to accompany the creative director and core team during an intensive production period in the second half of 2026 โ€” a chance to see exactly how an independent cultural space operates, from curating and programming to technical production, communication and late-night event management.

A self-organized contemporary art and cultural space in Vienna working between art, technology, performance, music and collective practices. They host exhibitions, workshops, club nights, festivals, screenings, performances and experimental formats connecting contemporary arts with digital culture and new media.

Your Role

Skills & Interests

Helpful Skills

๐Ÿ—‚๏ธ Experience with production management tools (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Excel, task managers, Gantt charts, scheduling systems)

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Good communication and organisational skills (basic German is helpful but not required)

๐Ÿ’ช A hands-on mentality and willingness to support physical setup work

๐Ÿ”Œ Basic understanding of event infrastructure (light, sound, projection, video/audio connections, stage setup)

๐Ÿค– Interest in or basic knowledge of augmented reality, AI tools, digital art and new media practices

Accommodation

The Details

๐Ÿ“ Location: Vienna, Austria

๐Ÿ—“๏ธ Period: Flexible around mid-August to mid-December 2026 (longer stays very welcome)

โณ Duration: Minimum 4 months

๐Ÿ•’ Commitment: Approx. 25โ€“30 hours per week

๐Ÿ’ถ Payment: Erasmus+ grant required (no additional financial compensation)
