This is not a shadowing role โ you'll contribute directly to the systems that products and client projects run on, with paid compensation and accommodation available in the heart of Salzburg.
๐ฏ Internship Description
This is a DOT internship for a student who enjoys working close to the metal โ comfortable in Linux, command lines, and the nuts and bolts of web infrastructure. You'll work in a small, technically grounded team where infrastructure is treated as a core competency, not an afterthought.
๐ What You'll Work On
๐ฅ๏ธ Server setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance
๐ Web hosting management, domain administration, DNS and SSL configuration
๐ Support deployment workflows and environment configuration
๐พ Help maintain backup and monitoring routines
๐ ๏ธ Contribute to internal tooling and CMS deployments (e.g. WordPress)
โ๏ธ Scripting and automation tasks in Bash or Python (depending on skill and interest)
๐จ Basic frontend adjustments where needed
๐ What They're Looking For
โ Students from Computer Science, IT and Network Engineering, Business Informatics, or Applied Informatics
โ Comfortable in Linux environments and the command line
โ Systematic and precise working style
โ Ideally some experience with basic scripting
โ Interest in web infrastructure โ hosting, domains, CDNs, deployment pipelines (essential)
โ Reliability and a habit of documenting your work
โ English B1
