Are you passionate about sustainability, cultural heritage, and community-driven projects? Beinsitu Sustainability Institute, a Brussels-based non-profit association, is looking for an Erasmus+ trainee to join their team as a Visual Communication and Design Intern!
Beinsitu designs and implements creative, inclusive, and participatory projects promoting sustainability, cultural heritage, urban studies, and local creative practices โ through workshops, exhibitions, research, and community events.
๐ฏ Internship Description
You'll join an international team in Brussels, working on local and international projects focused on city, youth, culture, and sustainability. The role offers hands-on experience in visual storytelling, content creation, and event coordination.
๐ Tasks & Responsibilities
๐ธ Document activities through photography, video, or visual storytelling
๐ฑ Assist in content creation and communication (social media, newsletters, website updates)
๐ฏ Support the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of local and international projects
๐ Help with event organisation and on-site coordination
๐ก Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to new initiatives
๐ Who They're Looking For
โ Motivated student or recent graduate eligible for the Erasmus+ Traineeship programme
โ Background or strong interest in sustainability, cultural heritage, urban studies, design, visual communication, research, or youth and community work
โ Good command of English (knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus)
โ Experience documenting with photography, video, and text
โ Familiarity with social media tools and basic digital content creation is an asset
โ Organised, proactive, creative โ able to work independently and in a team
โ Willing to relocate to Brussels for the traineeship
