🔷 Activity Details

Description

Are you between 18 and 30, looking for a real experience abroad, not just something to put on your CV? COSI NGO is hosting 6 volunteers in Bucharest, Romania for 6 months (July - December 2026) as part of the European Solidarity Corps. You'll be actively organising two Erasmus+ training courses and leading 6 monthly awareness campaigns on topics you actually care about. You'll meet people from across European Union and the Eastern Partnership, work in a multicultural team, and leave with skills you can't learn in a classroom. 📋 Download the application form here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1dE2Hw8ii2lyTXjOuutjBKmk04JmH-V6O Fill it in (no AI tools, please!) and send it to epvp6.2@gmail.com before 31st May 2026.

Accommodation, food and transport arrangements

Everything is covered so you can focus on the experience, not the logistics. COSI provides: comfortable shared accommodation in Bucharest (2 apartments, all bills included), full international and local transport, international health insurance, visa support if needed, and a pocket + food allowance of €270/month. You'll also under the support of the volunteer coordinator and the mentor throughout your stay.

Training during the activity

Before you arrive, we'll go through a preparation phase together. Once in Bucharest, you'll take part in an official online onboarding provided by the Romanian National Agency, followed by an in-person introductory training with our team. Throughout the project, ongoing support comes from your coordinator and mentors. At the midpoint, you'll join a face-to-face Mid-Term Evaluation, a chance to reflect, connect with other ESC volunteers, and course-correct if needed.

Participant profile

We're looking for people who are genuinely motivated, not perfect CVs. You might be a good fit if you are: Currently not in employment, education or training (NEET), or recently graduated and looking for direction Available for the full 6 months (July to December 2026) Comfortable communicating in English (conversational level is enough) Interested in human rights, intercultural dialogue, or social activism Curious about project coordination, social media, events, or community work We welcome applicants from EU countries, Romania, the Eastern Partnership region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine), and the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo).
