Description
Youth Services of the City of Le Mans — Info Jeunes is A free, drop-in space open to all young people aged 13 to 25. Info Jeunes is a welcoming hub where young people can: Take part in activities and join local events Find information on sports, leisure, and culture Get guidance on education, career paths, and personal projects Explore mobility opportunities in France and Europe (Erasmus+, ESC…) A local support centre helping young people in Le Mans navigate every step of their journey. You will constantly be with different leaders of our services but mainly 2 referents, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate with young volunteers in civic service or interns. You will be required to work for different audiences: - In the education department with 3-6 year olds or 6-11 year olds, your choice. - In the youth sector rather with 16-30 year olds.
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
You will have a room in a shared house with other ESC volunteers, in the city of Le Mans with everything provided. You will be provided with a card for tram and bus in Le Mans. On school days, you'll have the posibility to eat at the school canteen. For the others meals you will receive money to buy your food.
Training during the activity
You will have an onboarding training with the Maison de l'Europe and the group of volunteers and you will take part in the on arrival and mid term seminar.
