Your project is already making a difference. But is it reaching its full potential? Too often, impactful solutions fall short of achieving durable or systemic change because they lack the support, network, or political will needed to scale globally. The Paris Peace Forum Call for Solutions exists to change that.

The Paris Peace Forum was built in 2018 on the belief that global challenges can be addressed by building new forms of collective action that complement multilateral institutions and contribute to sustainable peace. Since its inception, the Forum's Solutions Hub has supported nearly 600 projects worldwide — highlighting initiatives that provide concrete responses to major issues of governance, sustainable development, and international cooperation.

The 2026 Call for Solutions is now open. The 9th edition of the Paris Peace Forum will be held in Paris on 11–12 November 2026, gathering heads of state, international organisations, civil society, and private sector actors from around the world.

What Is the Call for Solutions?

The Call for Solutions is the Forum's flagship initiative — designed to identify and select innovative, high-impact projects to showcase in the Space for Solutions at the Forum's annual event. In this dedicated space, selected project representatives present their solutions to a global audience of decision-makers, experts, journalists, and potential funders.

By facilitating these encounters, the Forum acts as a catalyst — increasing the impact and reach of projects that are already making a difference but need a global stage to go further.

The 2026 Thematic Priorities

The 2026 Call for Solutions themes reflect both the Forum's priorities and the urgent and emerging challenges within global governance — echoing France's G7 Presidency. These eight areas require urgent multi-stakeholder cooperation leading to significant change on a regional or global scale:

What Selected Projects Receive

All selected projects receive the Forum's 2026 Selected Project label and benefit from:

The Scale-Up Program

The Scale-Up Program (SCUP) works to amplify the impact of the most promising initiatives selected from the annual Call for Solutions. Acting as an incubator to accelerate solutions that make a difference, this one-year program leverages the Forum's expertise and network to help project leaders:

The goal is to enable SCUP initiatives to achieve sustainable growth and create meaningful change in their fields of action. The program supports 10 initiatives per year.

Who Can Apply?

The Call for Solutions is open to all key actors of global governance — no geographic restrictions:

🏛️ States and governments

🌐 International organisations

🏢 NGOs and civil society organisations

💼 Companies and private sector actors

🎓 Research institutes, universities, and think tanks

🙏 Foundations, philanthropic organisations, development agencies, religious groups, trade unions, and more

Selection Criteria

To be considered by the Selection Committee, applications must meet all seven criteria:

✅ Submitted by an organisation — not an individual

✅ Led by at least two people who confirm availability to present the project throughout the Forum — 11–12 November 2026

✅ Aligned with one of the 8 themes of the 2026 Call for Solutions

✅ At least in the pilot phase with some implementation underway — not just design or start-up

✅ Involves a specific, tangible, and distinct action — this excludes academic research, ideas without implementation plans, general frameworks, or broad organisational programmes rather than specific solutions

✅ Has an international dimension — or, for local/national initiatives, involves actors or resources from other countries and demonstrates potential for credible international action

✅ Not submitted to request funding from the Paris Peace Forum — the Forum does not finance projects
