This online workshop is designed for youth workers aiming to integrate sustainability into their work with youth. It aims at offering insights about the concept of Ecocentric Development as well as tools to apply with youth.
You are invited to this online workshop which addresses ecological awareness and personal maturity by deepening the relationship of youth with the natural world. The workshop is the dissemination step of the E+ project “Tending the Sacred” which aimed to introduce into youth work a new concept called Ecocentric Development.
This is a revolutionary and interdisciplinary concept of Psychology inspired by Nature. It is brought forth by eco-psychologist Dr Bill Plotkin and focuses on deeply connecting Youth with Earth, on creating and nurturing intimacy and belonging with Nature & empowering youth through developmental stages to enhance their competences & take action.
The Ecocentric Development invites youth to view again Earth as sacred, as a holy place of belonging and being in reciprocity with. It empowers Youth to value Earth, deeply care for nature, act with responsibility and respect, take initiatives and lead the change with vision and with their uniqueness.
This online workshop is designed for youth workers, educators, and community leaders aiming to integrate sustainability and soul-connection into their work. It aims at offering insights about the concept as well as tools to apply with youth.

HOW?
The Online Workshop will take place online, on Zoom platform. We will send the link to everyone who registers.
The Online Workshop will be recorded and published on Youtube for further use.
