HELP BUILD REGENERATION! - ECO BUILDING, AGROFORESTRY AND PERMACULTURE PROJECT IN PUGLIA
ASSOCIAZIONE REGEN ETS
palombaio, Italy
DESCRIPTION
Regen is based in an Agroforestry farm now containing more then 15.000 different fruit trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants and vegetable gardens. Our association regularly organizes training courses for young people and adults on Agroforestry, Permaculture and Regenerative Agriculture, with practical and theoretical parts. We carry out different activities related to the training of participants in many areas within the framework of agro-ecology, bio-construction, ecology in general. Currently we work and collaborate in the development and establishment of different projects with agroforestry and agroecological models. The association has been offering different courses related to Agroforestry, soil regeneration, hydrological management, bioconstruction and some other topics related to ecology for about 8 years. We need minds and hands to build new structures on the farm <3
ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS
You will live in shared rooms with other volunteers and staff. There is a kitchen to cook meals, mostly organic and self-grown and vegetarian. It is our home and sacred space. In Regen the diet is vegetarian (we don't eat meat and fish in the farm, we eat eggs, we get cheese once a week for our pizza night), mostly organic, as local as possible and with minimum packaging. We believe in critical consumption and we don’t want to forage industrial food if possible. We ask not to bring industrial food from outside like bottled drinks. 🤝 What is a supporting organisation in ESC volunteering — and why does it matter for you? Most people know about sending and hosting organisations in ESC projects, but the role of the supporting organisation is far less understood — and far more important than it appears. This article clearly explains what a supporting organisation does, how it fits into the structure of an ESC project, and how its involvement directly affects the volunteer's experience and support throughout the programme. A must-read if you want to fully understand how ESC is structured. 👉 https://youthworkshub.org/6051/
