DESCRIPTION

The Paideia Galiza foundation is a private not for profit entity sited in A Coruña (Galicia, Spain). This institution is an open space to training, research and, in general, to a multi-dimensional and inter-disciplinary intervention in the field of Human and Social Sciences. One of the working areas of Fundación Paideia is related to young people: ESC, inclusive programs for young people with few opportunities etc. During the project the volunteer will be involved in different activities: participation in informational workshops about ESC, creation of content on social media, administrative tasks, preparation of audiovisual material for the promotion of projects, collaboration in group trainings, support in courses for people with disabilities (optional).

ACCOMMODATION, FOOD AND TRANSPORT ARRANGEMENTS

The volunteer will live in a shared flat with other volunteers. The apartment is fully furnished, it has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, kitchen and balcony. In the neighbourhood there is a park, beach and all services (supermarkets, bus stop, bank, pharmacy, bars, etc.). It is 15 minutes by bus from the city center. He/she will have food and transport covered.

TRAINING DURING THE ACTIVITY

The volunteer will take part in two trainings (on-arrival and mid-term training) organized by the National Agency.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

We are looking for a volunteer interested in the Youth & Mobility projects, creative, interested in social media, with a proactive attitude and interest towards disadvantaged groups.
