Connecting garden

Training Course

15-23 July 2926 | France

This is a training course to get to learn how to accompany young people to create a natural space for nature reconnection, self and other reconnection.

The project arises from a shared observation among young people, community development professionals, and partner organizations: a growing need to reconnect with the living world, rebuild social bonds, and collectively reflect on current ecological challenges in the face of the climate emergency.

It addresses two main needs:

Strengthening the skills of facilitators and community leaders so they can design and implement educational projects with strong social and ecological impact.

Actively engaging young people in meaningful, concrete, and transformative projects.

The project uses the living garden as an educational, sensory, and cooperative tool, helping to recreate connections between humans and ecosystems. These spaces become platforms for social transformation, civic education, and territorial resilience.

It is based on active pedagogy that promotes autonomy, local engagement, and the transversal skills required for the ecological transition.

The event will take place outdoors and is aimed at educators, activity leaders, and facilitators. In Brittany, 27 participants are expected.
