Lycรฉe et Campus Privรฉ Saint Joseph is looking for an Erasmus teaching assistant for the 2026โ2027 academic year โ a part-time, paid placement offering hands-on experience in language support, cultural education, and European project activities.
What Is This Role About?
The intern works alongside teachers to bring more cultural aspects into lessons โ talking about their home country, sharing daily life, sparking interest in other cultures, and comparing France with other countries on topics ranging from economy and legal systems to everyday habits and traditions. You will support English teachers, help students prepare for mock exams, and contribute to the school's broader European and international identity.
Responsibilities
๐ Observing and supporting subject teachers in their daily lessons
๐ค Collaborating with different teachers across subjects
๐ Participating in school events โ open days, Europe Day, and more
๐ญ Organising extracurricular activities for students
๐ Raising awareness of European dimensions by presenting your home country and culture
๐บ๏ธ Sharing ongoing European project activities with students and staff
๐ Assessing students alongside English teachers for mock exams
โ๏ธ Helping students find internships abroad
๐ Participating in day trips in France and Europe
Who Should Apply?
๐น From any European country โ field of study is not a priority
๐น Very good English โ C1/C2 level is required
๐น Open-minded and innovative โ ready to take on challenges
๐น Must be eligible for an Erasmus+ grant offered by your university
๐น Student or recent graduate eligible for an Erasmus+ internship
