Happy Erasmus is a Spanish association based in Bilbao and present in multiple European countries, dedicated to helping exchange students make the most of their time abroad. Last year alone the team organised 2 boat parties, 13 trips around Spain and Europe with an average of 75 people each, and over 35 parties — plus a full range of support services for incoming international students.

⚠️ This internship offers no financial compensation. You will need to apply for an Erasmus+ grant or scholarship through your university in order to participate.


What Is This Role About?

The internship supports Happy Erasmus Bilbao's core mission: increasing involvement in activities and improving services offered to the Erasmus community in Bilbao. You will be working in the office, meeting international students, helping with event logistics, managing social media content, and supporting the broader team across day-to-day operations.


Main Tasks

🏢 Attending and helping international students at the office

✈️ Informing students about travel options and upcoming activities

💬 Providing information and support for students' everyday needs in the city

🖥️ Editing and designing web content

📱 Creating posts and adaptations for social media

🖼️ Editing images for digital channels

🤝 Supporting the team in other tasks as needed


Who Should Apply?

🔹 Friendly with strong social skills — this is a people-facing role

🔹 Enjoys working in a team and an international environment

🔹 Fluent English — required

🔹 Basic Spanish — a plus (and genuinely appreciated)

🔹 Open-minded and comfortable in a multicultural setting

🔹 Positive attitude and genuine willingness to help

🔹 Experience in sales is a plus

🔹 No prior experience required
