What sounds stay with you, even when you leave? A lullaby passed through generations. Voices in a market. Music from a local celebration. A street, a river, a train. Resound Europe is a youth exchange in Belgrade, Serbia that turns these everyday sounds into creative audio works โ bringing together young people from five European countries to explore cultural heritage through sound, recording, and audio production.
๐ฏ About Resound Europe
Resound Europe is an Erasmus+ youth exchange where participants use recordings from their everyday life and local culture as a starting point for creative work. Working in international teams, they transform sounds, stories, and perspectives into new sound-based creations โ and present everything at a final public multimedia event in Belgrade.
No previous experience in audio production is required. Just curiosity and openness.

๐๏ธ Belgrade as a Sound Environment
Belgrade sits at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers โ one of the oldest cities in Southeast Europe and a vibrant contemporary capital. Its streets, markets, trams, public spaces, and nightlife create a layered soundscape that is perfect for this project.
The city is known for its rich and diverse music scene: traditional live music in Skadarlija, jazz, hip-hop, folk, pop, rock, experimental music, and a strong underground club culture shaped by DJs and electronic music. For Resound Europe, Belgrade is not just a place to visit โ it is a space to listen, record, interpret, and create.
