🌍 About the Project
The Sinnberg Grundschule is a vibrant elementary school with around 330 children (grades 1–4). It offers a variety of workshops and classes designed to develop students' personalities and skills, including:
- Music, sports, and theatre.
- Reading and English.
- Nature and bicycle activities.
- Promoting social interaction and creative learning.
🌟 Key Responsibilities:
- Support all-day classes by assisting with creative and educational activities.
- Help organize and facilitate free-time workshops for children.
- Participate in activities focused on music, theatre, and outdoor learning.
🛋 Accommodation, Food, and Transport
🏠 Accommodation:
- Private room in a shared flat with another ESC volunteer in Bad Kissingen.
🍴 Allowance:
- 7 EUR/day pocket money.
- Additional food allowance provided monthly.
🚍 Transport:
- Deutschland-Ticket for regional train travel across Germany.
📚 Training and Support
- ESC Seminars: On-arrival and mid-term training sessions.
- Participation in anti-discrimination workshops led by the coordinating organization.
- Opportunities to join a network of international volunteers in the Lower Franconia region.
👥 Participant Profile
We’re looking for volunteers who:
- Are passionate about working with children and youth.
- Enjoy creative activities like music, theatre, and hands-on projects.
- Knowledge of German language is an advantage but not mandatory.
